Total This Week: $75.23
Total For 2nd Month:  $163.71

Again it just wasn't a very good week at all.  I have been through cold streaks like this before, but all you can do is keep listing and wait for it to pick up again.  The good news is that as I type this I have already sold an item for $100 this week, so hopefully this is a good sign that thing start to pick up again.

Week 5 (8/11-8/17)

What I Sold:
Kansas City Royals Pin                                                             $3.50
Kangaroo Plush Toy                                                                  $14.99
Blakeman Henderson Plate                                                       $40.00
Commemorative Quarters Map                                                 $19.99

Wow not a good week at all.  I fell well short of my $150.00 a week goal. Unfortunately there will be weeks like this, bit hopefully not too many.  The biggest thing I can attribute to this bad week is the fact that I wasn't listing as much.  I try to list 5 items a day so I can keep my inventory fresh and have my subscribers keep coming back to my store every day.  This week with the start of work and having to clean the house up from all of the dust left by the popcorn ceiling project I just didn't have the time to list.

Made This Week:  $88.48
Made In 2nd Month:  $88.48

Week 4 (8/4-8/10)

Harry Potter Ravenclaw Scarf                                                 $5.00
Club Atlas Soccer Jersey                                                         $17.00

Wonder Woman Shirt                                                               $7.99
Christmas Plate                                                                        $12.75
Crayola Duck Plush Toy                                                          $29.99
Michigan Wolverines Shirt                                                      $12.00
Starbucks Cup                                                                          $5.50

Weekly Total:  $118.22
Monthly Total:  $846.58

Issues This Week:  Even though my sales were not as much this week, I am really happy with them.  I have had very limited access to my house this week because we had some workers scraping all of the popcorn from our ceiling and painting them.  This is a messy job and every room had to be taped off with plastic which meant I had trouble gathering any items that I sold.  Basically everything you see sold was sold on Sunday night or Friday.  There were many times I had to decline good offers because I knew I couldn't get to the items.  The good news is that I have access to my house again and can accept those good deals again.

Week 3 (7/28-8/3)

What I Sold:
Jordan Binnington Blue Stanley Cups Jersey                                 $115.00
Hot Wheels Car                                                                               $2.99
Jagermeister Lanyard                                                                      $8.00
Jim Thome Autographed Baseball                                                  $35.00
Marvel Bishoujo Statue                                                                   $138.00
Retro Gatorade Hat                                                                          $27.99
Tampa Bay Rays Shirt                                                                     $9.99

Weekly Total:  $336.97
Monthly Total:  $728.36

Again it has been a really amazing week.  I honestly can't remember the last time I sold two items in a week over $100.  Now the real challenge begins because I start work again this week and won't have as much time to list and scour for good deals.  Also this week my wife went and showed me exactly what she wanted for her bathroom remodel and I now have a more realistic idea of how much it will cost to redo.  I will need about $5000 for the complete remodel and I am hoping this is doable with just my Ebay for a full year.  Keep checking it to see how close I am getting.

Week 2 (7/21-7/27)

What I Sold:

Canvas Basketball Picture                             $12.99

Lane Bryant Jeans                                          $15.00
Batman Arkham Asylum Figure                   $64.99
Boy Scout Patch                                            $27.99
Atlanta Braves Delta Airlines Hat                 $8.00
Sporting KC Shirt                                          $11.99

Weekly Total:  $140.96
Monthly Total:  $391.39

Another good week, but I was still $10.00 under what I wanted to make each week.  I can handle that though.

Issues:

• This week I had to give a refund on a plate that I sold.  It happens, but fortunately not very often.  The good news is that the plate was under $15 and the buyer was very understanding because as you can see from the picture the post office did a number on the box.

• I had a person place an order with me and than the next day cancelled because he thought the shirt was an XL and not an XXL.  Easy fix thankfully.

Week 1 (7/14-7/20)

Wow!!!  A great week and trust me when I say it usually isn't this good. It was a great way to start the week by selling the Marilyn Monroe collectors plates.  Hopefully this trend continues.

And So It Begins...

Welcome and thanks for visiting my Ebay blog.  I guess the best place to start would be how I got into the Ebay game.  I have been doing Ebay for about four years and in the beginning it was to sell some of the Kansas City Royals items that we had been collecting.  Eventually we decided that in the very near future we were going to move to a warmer climate, so we needed to downsize and get rid of some of our items.  Like most people in the world we decided to donate most of our things to Goodwill or other second hand shops like that.  I eventually decided that we had some pretty nice stuff and decided to try to sell that on Ebay.  Eventually it sold and I was hooked on the aspect of making money off of selling stuff on Ebay.

In the beginning we were just looking at using it to pay off some bills, but now my goal is to make enough money that combined with my summer school money that my wife can remodel our bathroom without touching any money in the savings account.

My goal is to have between $4000-$5000 in my account by July of 2020.  This means that each week I will need to make $150 a week.  This blog will keep track of my progress each week and any issues that arise.  I plan on updating this blog every Sunday, so I hope you join me for this journey.
